Paul Donald
Research In Motion (RIM), Vice President, Alliances
As Vice President of Alliances at Research In Motion (RIM), Paul Donald is responsible for the development and maintenance of system integrator (SI) and third-party application developer relationships. Additionally, Mr. Donald oversees and manages all aspects of the BlackBerry strategy, business development, marketing, and operations for a variety of major network and operator partnerships in North America. Prior to joining RIM in 1999, Mr. Donald was founder and CEO of PeerDirect Inc., a leading developer of data replication software.
Pat Hume
Global VP of Sales and Business Development
Patricia Hume boasts 25 years of experience in the high technology industry, including the first 20 years of her career at IBM, in numerous management positions within manufacturing, development, finance, sales, and marketing. Prior to leaving IBM (Lotus), Ms. Hume was Worldwide Vice President of Lotus Business Partners, where she was responsible for a wide range of sales and marketing efforts. Ms. Hume joined VerticalNet in 2000 and became President and CEO of the company, at that time a publicly traded, $120 million company. After leaving VerticalNet, Ms. Hume spent time at Critical Path where, as Worldwide Senior Vice President of Partners, she was responsible for the creation of new channels to market, before joining Avaya.
Jill Broyles
Netivity Solutions, Vice President
With 20 years of leadership and technical expertise, Jill Broyles, the founder and former President and CEO of Prevail Technology, has managed the Northeast Business unit of INRANGE Global Consulting (IGC) since INRANGE Technologies Corp. acquired Prevail in January 2001. Within a year of combining the Northeast Prevail and ebNetworks into one, Ms. Broyles led the organization to profitability. Responsible for the company's bottom line for the Northeast, Ms. Broyles has a vast array of experience in sales, business development, and operations and has led the Northeast organization to develop more than 40 partnerships and has managed the IBM alliance, the largest within IGC. As President of Prevail, Ms. Broyles grew the company's sales by $3 million in four years, from its inception in 1997 to January 2001. Ms. Broyles joined Netivity Solutions in 2004 as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Ms. Broyles holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science. She has served as a board member on many IBM Business Partner Councils and is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives.
Pam Geoga
Independent
Pamela Geoga, a seasoned executive in the high technology industry, has held leadership positions at IBM, Lotus Development, and SoftQuad Software, Ltd. Boasting 29 years of experience in industries such as professional services, automotive, manufacturing, finance, and high technology, Ms. Geoga was instrumental in early market development for high-impact global technologies such as Lotus Notes and XML enablement. She also has vast experience in mid-sized and entrepreneurial settings. Underscoring her commitment to effective processes and individual growth in leadership while at Lotus, IBM, and SoftQuad, Ms. Geoga introduced Solutions Selling, a methodology that drives customer value. She is well known as an effective change leader with a wide range of expertise in promoting cross-organizational collaboration and synergies.
Laura Bordewieck Rippy
Chief Strategy Officer
Laura joined InterNoded in December 2007 as an Advisory Board member and is responsible for strategy, sales, marketing, analyst and public relations in her role as chief strategy officer.
Laura was chief executive officer of Handango from 1999 to 2003, during the company's period of high growth and success. Under her leadership, Handango grew revenues to $38 million; achieved profitability; partnered with the major leaders of the mobile world, including Palm, Microsoft, Nokia, Motorola, ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint; reached the Inc. 500; and received awards for the Best Place to Work.
Prior to joining Handango, Laura worked at Microsoft for more than six years where she held a series of marketing and executive positions. While there, she founded and led MSN HomeAdvisor and co-founded Sidewalk.com, two award-winning e-commerce sites. As general manager for MSN HomeAdvisor, Laura created the business plan, convinced Microsoft executives to fund the business, hired and led the product team, and drove all aspects of partnerships and marketing. For Sidewalk.com, she created the original business plan, pitched it to senior executives for funding, and drove the first product development priorities. Laura also led the launch of software products in the education category for Microsoft, with special focus on retail and direct marketing channels. Lastly, for Microsoft's Dallas office, Laura led strategic solutions sales of SQL Server and developer tools for Microsoft's enterprise customers.
Currently, Laura is on the Advisory Board for Inrix, the leader in predictive travel information, and Zeemote, creators of the first wireless controller for mobile phones. At InterNoded she is chief strategy officer and an Advisory Board member. Laura is a member of The Boston Club and the Texas Women Ventures Fund.
Laura earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of arts degree in government from Dartmouth College.
